Maurice Paige: Raps

Maurice Paige is a South African dancer and actor best known for his starring role as the cheeky, selfish and outspoken Calvin Xavier in the SABC3 soap opera ‘Isidingo’, joining the cast in 2009.

He is also known for his role as Toby in action comedy ‘Gog’ Helen’, and the Xhosa film ‘Winsome’, a romantic comedy by writer and director Leli Maki.

Yasirah Behlz: Queen

Born in Mdantsane, East London, this ambitious young singer, songwriter and actress goes by her stage name of Yasirah, which is how her fans know her.

Although she was born in South Africa, she has spent most of her time in England, where she pursued her music career, and has released a single abroad.

This young, hot and fresh talented singer has built herself a strong support base in England, where she spent most of her time touring and performing in venues like the British Museum and in clubs across the country.

Lionel Newton: Valentine

Lionel Newton is a South African actor and director best known to television audiences for creating, writing and starring as a three-dimensional stereotype of himself in the SABC3 comedy series ‘Sorted’, from 2005 to 2006.

He has numerous other television credits, including ‘You be the Judge’, ‘Barney Barnato’, ‘Life Begins at Forty’, ‘Soul Buddyz’, ‘Isidingo’, ‘Crossing the Line’, ‘Rhythm City’ and ‘End Game’.

Lionel has also acted in a wide variety of films and made-for-TV movies including ‘Gums & Noses’, ‘An African Dream’, ‘Stander’, ‘Forgiveness’, ‘Mama Jack’, ‘Triomf’, ‘Jozi’, ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ and ‘Nothing for Mahala’. Primarily a theatre actor, his extensive stage resume includes productions such as ‘Macbeth’, ‘Rodney Gets His Gun’, ‘Romeo and Juliet’, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, ‘Thina Bantu’, ‘Measure for Measure’, ‘Oliver’, ‘Hamlet’, ‘The Seagull’ and ‘Antony and Cleopatra’.

Among many theatre awards, he received the Vita Award for Best Lead Actor for his role as Estragon in ‘Waiting for Godot’, in 2002.

Tarryn Alberts: Wendell

Tarryn Alberts, who hails from Eldorado Park, started dancing at the age of nine, and is one of South Africa’s most graceful dancers.

In May 2017, she will be touring Europe and the US for five months with successful South African group Die Antwoord. Tarryn has worked with them in the past, which she describes as an amazing experience.

She spends five- to 12-hour days rehearsing for performances, shooting music videos and working on campaigns. This she does to house music, old-school hip-hop and R&B.

She started out by taking classes in Newtown at Bassline. In 2010, she was named Krump Queen, and she has toured Europe as a backup dancer. In 2012, she joined a crew called V.I.N.T.A.G.E and competed on’s Step Up or Step Out, where they finished second.

In 2014, Tarryn opened for Kendrick Lamar at Miller Boomtown, the rapper's three day mini-tour of South Africa..

Sandile Zulu

Sandile Sand Zulu is a young up and coming South African dancer, actor and choreographer. Sandile is currently a dancer in the Micheal Dancing History Show and is a dancer in Pop Lock n Roll.

Jason Meyer

Jason Meyer is a talented South Africa dancer and is Director, Choreographer and Instructor at Out Of Africa Dance Academy and dancer in Pop Lock n Roll.

Robyn Brophy

Robyn Brophy studied at The National Schools of the Arts, She is a talented artist and releasing her first Single MoonChild. Feat. Kimosabe in 2017 and a has a central dancing role in Pop Lock n Roll.

Duane Lawrence

Duane Lawrence went to Rhodes High School in Cape Town and is part of the Ubuntu B-Boy Crew. Duane is featured in the Movie Pop Lock n Roll.

Eric Uys

Eric Uys is an actor, known for Lord of War (2005), Pop, Lock 'n Roll (2017) and Hum (2017).
